In Barhan police station area of Agra, due to interest money and illicit relationship, the nephews along with the woman murdered their uncle. Kept the dead body hidden in the house. At night, the body was taken to the fields outside the village and buried. After this, the deceased’s son was informed about his father’s disappearance.

ACP Etmadpur Piyush Kant said that Rampremi Sikarwar, resident of Kharka village of Morena, has maternal grandparents in Katka village of Barhan. He has given money on interest to many other people in the village including his cousin. He used to come to the village every two months to collect interest. On 29th November also he came to the village from Morena.
On December 1, Rampremi’s son Ajit informed Barhan police station that his father had gone missing. The police registered a missing person and started the search. Inquired the relatives, they said that they had no information. With the help of CDR and surveillance, the police picked up about a dozen people for questioning. During interrogation, relatives Tejveer, Rahul, Virendra and Vijay confessed to killing Rampremi and burying the body in the field.
murdered on the same day The accused told that they had borrowed money from Rampremi. He used to pay huge interest every month. Apart from this, he also had relations with village woman Sunita. Tejveer also had relations with that woman. Tejveer also harbored grudges against this. It was Tejveer who conspired to murder Rampremi. It was he who had called Rampremi Sikarwar to collect the interest money. On December 29, Rampremi had come to Barhan at around 22 in the morning. Tejveer, along with his associates Vijay, Virendra and Rahul, strangled Rampremi to death at around 1 pm.
Dead body hidden at woman’s house After the murder, the accused filled the body in a sack. After this, in the afternoon, the sack was taken to woman Sunita’s house and hidden. A plan was made to dispose of the body the night after the murder. All the accused and the woman Sunita reached the field away from the village with the dead body at around 1 o’clock in the night. Here he dug a pit. The dead body was buried in it. After this came back to his home.
Police recovered the dead body The police took the accused to the fields on Friday. When excavation was done at the place indicated by him, the dead body of the old man was found in a sack. The body has been sent for post-mortem. A case is being registered against the accused and action is being taken.
Son reported missing Deceased’s son Ajit told that on December 1, in the afternoon, Tejveer got a call from the village. He said that your father has suddenly gone missing. Looked for him everywhere in the village, but could not find him. After this he reached the village in the evening. A complaint was lodged with the police on December 2.
