Mumbai. ‘Bigg Boss 17’ winner and standup comedian Munawar Faruqui recently revealed that when his son Mikhail was one and a half years old, he had a rare disease. He told that the name of this rare disease is Kawasaki. This disease causes swelling in the blood vessels of the body of the victims and damages the heart. Munawwar revealed this in Janice Sequeira’s podcast. He told that when he came to know about his son’s illness, he did not even have money. He was poor and had no money.
Munawwar Farooqui said, “That situation scares me. At that time my son was one and a half years old. He fell ill and his condition did not improve for 2-3 days. After taking him to the hospital, it was discovered that he had Kawasaki disease. Had to give three injections. The cost of each injection was Rs 25,000. I needed Rs 75,000, but I had only Rs 700-800 in my wallet.”
Munawar Farooqui became numb for 30-40 minutes
Munawwar Farooqui further said, “I smiled casually at the doctor and assured him that I would arrange the money. But as soon as I came out, I became numb for 30-40 minutes, couldn’t think anything. This was the heaviest moment of my life.” He told that he had to ask money from people because he had no other option.
Munawwar vowed not to remain financially weak
Munawwar Farooqui further said, “I went to Mumbai Central, took the money and came back within three hours. Although I was relieved, I could not smile because it was not my money. After that day, I decided that I would never be financially inferior again.”
Munawwar Farooqui got married in May this year
Munawwar Farooqui married Mehjabeen Kotwala in May this year. Before Mehjabeen, the comedian was married to Jasmine, with whom he has a six-year-old son named Mikael. Munawwar had talked about his son for the first time in Kangana Ranaut’s reality show ‘Lock Up’. Now, he often shares pictures with his son on social media.
