Bageshwar: If you are troubled by long pending disputes and want a solution, or want quick justice in the matter, then this news is for you. National Lok Adalat is being organized on 14 December in Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand. This will take place in the extraterritorial court including the district court of the district. The hearing in this Lok Adalat will be conducted by Judge Narendra Dutt and information regarding the organization of the court has been given by District Civil Judge, Secretary Jayendra Singh.
He told Local 18 that National Lok Adalat will be organized under the auspices of the District Legal Services Authority on the instructions of the National Legal Services Authority and the State Legal Services Authority. The objective of Lok Adalat is to resolve as many disputes as possible through conciliation and compromise. So that both the parties can get justice in a quick and simple manner.
Importance of Lok Adalat
The objective of Rashtriya Lok Adalat is to resolve long pending cases in the court expeditiously and by mutual consent. In this process, efforts are made to resolve disputes on the basis of talks with people from both sides. Those cases in which there is a high possibility of reconciliation are resolved through Lok Adalat. Many times, matters which are getting complicated without mutual discussion are easily resolved during talks in Lok Adalat.
Which cases will be resolved?
Rashtriya Lok Adalat deals with compoundable criminal cases, money transaction cases, labor and employment disputes, spousal disputes related to marriage, other civil cases like tenancy, injunctions, specific performance, check bounce cases, motor accident cases. Compensation cases, electricity/water bills cases, land acquisition cases, revenue cases, suits pending in consumer forum, money recovery suits, motor accident suits, 138 NI Act and Motor Vehicles Act suits and pre-litigation cases related to banks will be resolved quickly.
Preparation to make the event successful
Information about organizing the National Lok Adalat has been published by the District Court and instructions have also been given to all the judicial officers and advocates to make necessary preparations for the successful event. The concerned parties in the case have also been informed about the occasion. Awareness campaigns are also being run in the district regarding the organization of National Lok Adalat, so that maximum disputes can be resolved easily and quickly on that day.
