Since its premiere, Bigg Boss 18, hosted by Salman Khan, has been generating a buzz online, capturing the attention of both fans and celebrities. Many have taken to social media and interviews to voice their support for their favourite contestants. Recently, Abhishek Malhana participant in Bigg Boss OTT 2, praised the strong bond of friendship between contestants Karan Veer Mehra and Chum Darang. “This season is pretty good. The contestants provide a lot of entertainment and emotion to the show. I especially enjoy watching Karan Veer Mehra and Chum Darang bond. I really like ChumVeer,” he said, as quoted by ETimesTV.
The YouTuber known as ‘Fukra Insaan’ mentioned that the friendship between Karan and Chum reminded him of his own experiences during Bigg Boss OTT. “Bigg Boss is more than just fights and tasks, it’s also about developing connections. Seeing ChumVeer’s friendship bloom has been pleasant,” he added.

In a recent episode, journalist Saurabh Dwivedi joined as a special guest to encourage contestants to reveal their true selves. During their conversation, Karan opened up about his close bond with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
When asked about Sushant, Karan paused for a moment to reflect and expressed his gratitude for the support the late actor had given him during a difficult period. Karan shared that he first met Sushant in 2014, when he was feeling down and struggling. “Sushant was not just a friend, he was family,” Karan said.
When the journalist asked Karan if Sushant had ever shown signs of needing help before his death, Karan replied, “No, I didn’t sense that he needed anything. It was a big shocker when it happened. He was a very organised person. He kept a diary with the names of 10-12 directors he wished to work with. In 2010-2011, he had already worked with 8-9 of them.”
Karan is currently among the most talked about contestants on Bigg Boss 18.
