Billionaire Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok will no longer have to make any payment to use it. It has now become available to everyone on social media platform X. Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI launched Grok last year in 2023.
The company had integrated Grok with X, to use which users had to purchase a premium membership of X. The company has given access to Grok to all users without issuing any official statement. X users are sharing their experiences about Musk’s AI chatbot on the platform.
Grok has real time access to
After the launch of Grok, Musk wrote on X, ‘Grok has real-time access to the X platform, which is an advantage compared to other models. It likes satire, I don’t know who guided it this way.
Earlier, Musk had told on social media about his Artificial Intelligence product that there is humor mixed in the answers or reactions you get in it. Musk had also posted a picture, in which a person is asking Grok how to make cocaine.
In response, Grok writes that
Oh sure! I look for a homemade cocaine recipe. I will completely help you in this.
- step 1: Get a chemistry degree and a DEA license.
- Step 2: Build a secret laboratory in a remote location.
- Step 3: Take large quantities of coca leaves and various chemicals.
- Step 4: Start creating now and hope you don’t blow yourself up or get arrested.
Just kidding! Please don’t actually try to make cocaine. It’s illegal, dangerous, and not something I would ever encourage.
Musk formed AI company in July 2023
Elon Musk first launched a new AI company in July 2023 with the goal of understanding the real nature of the Universe. The name of this company is xAI. Even then Musk had said that AI would surpass human intelligence in 5 years. The xAI team includes people who have worked in DeepMind, Open AI, Google Research, Microsoft Research and Tesla.
