If a crow makes noise while sitting in the courtyard or roof of the house, then it is an indicator of the arrival of a guest. This tradition is centuries old.
According to astrology, during Shraddha Paksha, crows are fed as symbols of ancestors, due to which the Pitra Dosh in the horoscope gets eliminated. Even on normal days, it is auspicious to give grains or food to crows. On the one hand, feeding a crow removes ancestral evils, while on the other hand, the crow is a symbol of a guest.

Pandit Shridhar Shastri explains that if a crow makes a sound while sitting on the roof of the house in the east and west direction, then it is a symbol of the arrival of a guest, but if a crow makes a sound while sitting in the north direction, it is an indicator of meeting an old friend. They say that if a crow makes noise while sitting in the south direction of the house, then it is a symbol of Pitra Dosh and serious problems. If the crow is sitting and speaking on the south side of the house, then drive it away from there without any delay and take some such measures so that the crow does not sit there and speak again. Apart from this, havan and religious rituals should also be performed in the house with Vedic mantras so that the house becomes safe. This will eliminate negative energy.
