It is believed that action may be taken against more than 20 engineers and contractors. It has also been decided that now samples of public works roads will be taken in the entire state. So that poor construction can be stopped.
Samples were taken from nine districts At present, the nine districts where samples have failed include Balrampur, Kanpur Nagar, Pratapgarh, Muzaffarnagar, Azamgarh, Bandayu, Jalaun, Basti and Ghazipur districts. CM Yogi Adityanath, in the review meeting on November 4, had given instructions to inspect the roads in all the districts.
In this, 16 engineers were suspended after their samples failed in Hardoi. It is being told that the coal tar and emulsion are not as per the standards. The road will deteriorate before time.
