Today i.e. on December 3, the Sensex closed at 80,845 with a gain of 597 points. Nifty also gained 181 points and closed at the level of 24,457.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 25 rose and 5 declined. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 41 rose and 9 declined.
In the NSE Sectoral Index, except FMCG and Pharma, all sectors closed with gains. Adani Port was the top gainer of Nifty. Whereas, Bharti Airtel was the top loser.
Asian market remained bullish
- HDFC Bank, Reliance, Larsen & Toubro and Axis Bank led the market. Whereas, Bharti Airtel, ITC and Sun Pharma were among the falling Sensex stocks.
- In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei rose by 1.91% and Korea’s Kospi rose by 1.86%. China’s Shanghai Composite Index also closed with a rise of 0.44%.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹238.28 crore on December 2. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹3,588.66 crore.
- On December 2, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.29% to 44,782 and the S&P 500 rose 0.24% to 6,047. The Nasdaq closed at 19,403, up 0.97%.
Today is the last day to bid for Suraksha Diagnostic’s IPO. Today is the second day of bidding for the IPO of Suraksha Diagnostic Limited. This IPO total was subscribed only 25% on the first day. This IPO has been subscribed 0.45% in the retail category and 0.13% in the Non-Institutional Investors (NII) category.
SEBI approval for Truealt Bioenergy IPO TrueAlt BioEnergy, one of India’s largest biofuel producers, has received approval from SEBI for IPO. Under the IPO, the company will issue new shares worth Rs 750 crore. Apart from this, 36 lakh shares will be put for sale under OFS by the promoter of the company.
Promoters hold 88.20% stake in this Bengaluru-based company. The remaining 11.8% stake is held by public shareholders including Chartered Finance & Leasing and Vikas India EIF I Fund.
The market closed yesterday with a sharp rise Earlier yesterday i.e. on December 2, the Sensex had closed at the level of 80,248 with a rise of 445 points (0.56%). Nifty also rose by 144 points (0.6%), it closed at the level of 24,276.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 21 were up and 9 were down. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 31 were up and 18 were down. Whereas, there was no change in 1 share. All the NSE Sectoral Index except FMCG and PSU Bank closed with gains.
