Forest Inspector Soni Singh posted in the Forest Department lodged a complaint with the Newriya police station. In which it was said that on December 4 at 7 am, they received information that on December 3 in the evening, Lekhraj son of Noniram, resident of village Todarpur of police station Newriya area, was attacked and injured by a jackal near village Gidhor while returning from the market. Whom his family members brought to the district hospital for treatment. On receiving information, she also went to the district hospital and took information about the incident from the injured.
Jackal’s dead body was found upon inspection
After this, inspection was carried out by reaching the spot mentioned by the injured on the side of the road leading to Khirka Farm near village Gidhaur. After this, after investigating the area, a dead body of a jackal was found near the spot on the side of Majhaula Dunidam road. Which was captured by the Forest Department team. On interrogating the nearby local villagers, it was revealed that this was the same jackal by which Lekhraj was injured.
