These are the disadvantages of onion crop
Agriculture expert Jaidev Chauhan of Garhwal University’s Haprek told Local 18 that leaf blight is a fungal disease. This disease spreads from one plant to another. This disease spreads in plants when onion seedlings start growing. Onion crop is affected by this disease.
The effect of the disease is visible on the leaves and tubers, which causes huge losses to the farmers, because onion leaves and tubers go to the market for sale. When onions affected by this disease are stored, they start spoiling in a short time.
