Following the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, the Commissionerate Police has launched a campaign against loudspeakers in Varanasi. Police teams are taking action against illegally installed loudspeakers in all police stations from city to rural areas. At the same time, the sound of many loudspeakers was reduced.

In the last 24 hours, police removed unauthorized loudspeakers from 94 religious places in Kashi Zone, Varuna Zone and Gomti Zone. For worship at these places, huge loudspeakers were hung outside the premises, the sound of which had no set standard.
At the same time, the police team also seized 17 DJs installed for playing music at various events. He also talked about stopping the noise at these events and taking legal action against the DJs who were playing at high volume. After the police action, many people themselves have removed loudspeakers from their sites.
Police Commissioner Mohit Aggarwal said that a campaign is being run against unauthorized loudspeakers and DJs in Commissionerate Varanasi. In this special campaign, 94 unauthorized loudspeakers have been removed so far on 8th December. And 17 DJs were seized within 24 hours. The operation will continue and police teams have been instructed to take action.
