Today i.e. on December 10, the Sensex opened with a rise of 67 points at the level of 81,575. Nifty is also up by 30 points, it is trading at the level of 24,650.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 20 are rising and 10 are declining. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 30 are declining and 20 are rising. In NSE sectoral indices, except Nifty Oil and Gas sector, all are trading with gains.
Asian markets boom
- In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei is up by 0.094% and Korea’s Kospi is up by 2.23%. Whereas China’s Shanghai Composite Index is trading with a rise of 1.35%.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) bought shares worth ₹724.27 crore on December 9. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) sold shares worth ₹ 1,648.07 crore.
- On December 9, America’s Dow Jones fell 0.54% and closed at 44,401. The S&P 500 fell 0.61% to 6,052 and the Nasdaq lost 0.62% to 19,736.
3 IPOs will open tomorrow
The initial public offer (IPO) of Vishal Mega Mart Limited, One MobiKwik Systems Limited and Sai Life Sciences Limited will open tomorrow i.e. on 11th December. Investors will be able to bid for all three IPOs till December 13. The company’s shares will be listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on December 18.
The market closed with a decline on Monday
Earlier yesterday i.e. on 9th December, the Sensex had fallen by 200 points and closed at the level of 81,508. Nifty also fell by 58 points, it closed at the level of 24,619. At the same time, BSE Small Cap closed at the level of 57,313 with a gain of 262 points.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 17 were in decline and 13 were up. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 30 were in decline and 19 were up. Whereas, one stock closed without any change. In the NSE sectoral index, the FMCG sector closed with the biggest decline of 2.22%.
