A case of encroachment on Irrigation Department land by some people has come to light in Hulaspur locality of Bhadohi Nagar. Nan Z A Khatauni’s Gata No. 27/2 area of 0.019 hectare has been encroached upon, which is mentioned in the name of Irrigation Department in the current records.

Today, Tehsil Sanjay Kumar and Municipal Council Tax Superintendent Ashok Kumar, along with a team of revenue inspectors visited the spot and conducted on-site inspection. During inspection it was found that encroachment had taken place.
A boundary wall was built by Sujit Kumar Jaiswal and others on the public drain from the main road of GFD Road to Hulaspur Marg, due to which there was a blockage in the road and people were facing difficulty in movement.

Tehsildar and Municipality officials on the spot ordered the encroacher to submit all the records related to the said boundary wall to the Municipality office within three days. If the records are not presented then legal action will be taken.
This will be considered as encroachment on the public road. In case the encroachment is not removed, action will be taken under Uttar Pradesh Municipal Act 1916 and Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act 1971.
Report sent to SDM
Municipal Council EO Dharamraj Singh has sent the report of the Tehsildar and Accountant to the SDM. The report states that former BJP MLA Ravindranath Tripathi had verbally complained about the encroachment.
Encroachment has also been confirmed during the inspection of Tehsildar and Accountant. Now in continuation of this complaint, a plan is being made to fix a date for removing the encroachment, and the revenue team and police force will be directed to be present so that action can be taken to remove the encroachment.
