Tensions and drama seem to be never-ending inside the Bigg Boss 18 house. Every new day, contestants indulge in heated arguments on the sets of the show, leading to more controversies. In some moments, housemates also showed their mean sides by making below-the-belt remarks. Earlier, Alice Kaushik called Edin Rose a “b**ch” just for talking to guys and now Kashish Kapoor repeated the unacceptable action on national television by using the same word against Chahat Pandey.
In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 18, Kashish Kapoor and Chahat Pandey got into a verbal spat, with the former making several cheap remarks about the latter. It began when the wildcard contestant on the show, Yamini Malhotra, was helping Edin Rose with her outfit in the changing room. Chahat commented at that time. When Yamini and Edin came out, they complained about it to Kashish Kapoor and Sara Khan. Upon hearing this, Kashish added that Chahat had commented on her character too and while hinting at the latter, she said, “Gutter ki paidaish (born out of a gutter).”
Chahat, passing by, later told Chum Darang and Shrutika Arjun about Kashish’s comment and confronted her. Kashish got furious and started yelling at Chahat. Although Sara intervened and tried to stop the fight, Kashish stooped low and made another below-the-belt comment. She said, “She is such a b**ch!” pointing towards Chahat. The housemates present there got divided. While Digvijay Rathee sided with Chahat and said it reflected Kashish’s personality, Chum and Shrutika remarked, “Paani jayesa behta hain, Kashish mu kholne se gali wayse behta hain (Like water flows, slangs also flow when Kashish opens her mouth).”
Meanwhile, Chahat continued to assert that she had not abused Kapoor earlier and broke down in tears. Later that night, Sara asked Kashish to apologise to Chahat for her remarks, but the Splitsvilla X5 fame refused to.
It is not the first time Kashish has hit the headlines with her remarks. Earlier, when the show’s host, Salman Khan, taunted her regarding her stint on Splitsvilla X5, she reacted to being targeted by Bigg Boss. In one episode of the show, Salman told her, “Pichle show mein yeh dono (Kashish Kapoor and Digvijay Rathee) aaye the partner banke aur yeh paise lekar bhaag gayi thi (They both were partners in the previous show and she ran away after taking the money).” When the host repeated the question, Kashish explained that she had discussed everything with Digvijay that night. Afterwards, she mentioned talking to Karan Veer Mehra about her actions in Splitsvilla helped her overcome her guilt. Salman again stated, “Jab quit karte hain na log, woh kabhi koi goal nahi paate hain. Wo beech mein hi aise nikal jaate hain (When people quit, they never achieve any goal. They just quit midway).”
Upset by this criticism, Kashish defended herself at that moment. Later, she discussed this situation with Chahat and claimed, “Yeh bolna ki jo game quit kar dete hain, woh life mein aage nahi badhte. Yeh kya baat hui. Aur yahan pe agar paison ki baat kar rahe hain na, mujhe Rs 2 crores denge toh main leke chali jaungi.” (He is implying that people who leave the game will be unable to progress further in life. What’s this? And if you are talking about money, if you offer me Rs 2 crores, I will accept it and leave).
