Divyanka Tripathi, a popular face in the TV and OTT industry is enjoying her time away from work. The actress is busy with the pre-wedding preparations of her close family member. Divyanka recently shared several glimpses from the haldi ceremony held outdoors. While the pictures gave a sneak peek into the lively moments with the family, Divyanka’s simple yet elegant look also caught everyone’s attention.
The pictures show Divyanka in a stunning green suit with golden borders and a patterned dupatta. She was seen posing with the groom as well as many others in her family. In one of the pictures, Divyanka was seen hugging the groom suggestively after the haldi ceremony. In another snap, the actress and the entire family were seen posing inside the house. A picture also featured them posing with jute baskets on their heads. In the caption, “Mandap, Haldi at ghar ka Aangan.”
Few days back, the actress took to Instagram to post a series of photos and videos with her husband Vivek Dhaiya, mother Neelam Tripathi and others. In the caption, she wrote, “Milna milaanaa, saath taiyaariyaan karna, saath khaanaa Ghar Ki Shaadi Matlab…har pal enjoyable.” Divyanka posed on her balcony wearing a comfy Chickankari kurta combo. A clip showed her preparing gifts and handbags for everyone of the guests invited to the ceremony. Some pictures also featured Vivek Dahiya.
On the professional front, Divyanka recently appeared in the web series The Magic of Shiri, alongside Jaaved Jaaferi, Namit Das and Darshan Jariwala. Birsa Dasgupta directed the series. In the show, the actress portrays a homemaker who defies all barriers to pursue her dream of becoming a magician. Speaking about her role, the actress told the Free Press Journal, “To prepare for my role, I took a magic workshop and practised hard, even though I’m a bit clumsy. Additionally, I joined a dance workshop for the show because magicians often incorporate dance and acting in their performances. It was such a wonderful experience working on this show.” Shiri’s journey to reconnect with her ambitions, makes the show relatable in terms of self-discovery and second chances. It was released on Jio Cinema on November 14.
