Flat trading was seen in the stock market today i.e. on 11th December. Sensex closed at 81,526 with a gain of 16 points. There was also a rise of 31 points in Nifty, it closed at the level of 24,641.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 18 declined and 12 rose. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 26 rose and 23 fell. One share closed flat. Today, growth has been seen in finance, auto and FMCG shares. Whereas banking and energy shares have fallen today.
Mixed business for Asian markets
- In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei is up by 0.012% and Korea’s Kospi is up by 1.02%. China’s Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.29% higher today.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) bought shares worth ₹1,285.96 crore on December 10. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) also bought shares worth ₹605.79 crore.
- On December 10, America’s Dow Jones fell 0.35% and closed at 44,247. The S&P 500 fell 0.30% to 6,034 and the Nasdaq lost 0.25% to 19,687.
3 IPOs will open today
The initial public offers (IPOs) of Vishal Mega Mart Limited, One MobiKwik Systems Limited and Sai Life Sciences Limited will open today. There was flat trading in the market yesterday also
Before this, yesterday i.e. on 10th December also there was flat trading in the stock market. The Sensex closed at 81,510 with a gain of 1 point. There was a decline of 8 points in Nifty, it closed at the level of 24,610. At the same time, BSE Smallcap closed at 57,503 with a gain of 189 points.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 15 were up and 15 were down. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 27 were in decline and 23 were up. In the NSE sectoral index, Nifty Realty sector closed with the highest gain of 1.43%.
