Total inflows into equity mutual funds in November 2024 stood at ₹35,927.3 crore, down 14.1% compared to ₹41,865.4 crore in October. At the same time, the inflow of large cap mutual funds has declined by 26.3%, from ₹ 3,452.3 crore in October to ₹ 2,547.9 crore in November.
However, small cap mutual funds have seen a 9% increase in inflows, from ₹3,772 crore in October to ₹4,112 crore in November. Mid cap mutual funds saw a marginal growth of 4.3% in inflows from ₹4,683 crore in October to ₹4,883.4 crore in November.
Monthly mutual fund SIP nears ₹25,000 crore for the second consecutive month
Monthly mutual fund SIPs crossed the ₹25,000 crore mark for the second consecutive month, standing at ₹25,320 crore in November. Whereas, in October it was ₹25,323 crore. The number of SIP accounts has reached an all-time high of 10,22,66,590 in November 2024, from 10,12,34,212 in October and 9,87,44,171 in September.
Total AUM of mutual funds will be ₹67.81 lakh crore in November 2024
The total asset under management (AUM) of mutual funds has reached ₹67.81 lakh crore in November 2024, which was ₹66.98 lakh crore in October. The current market value of securities held by mutual fund houses is called Assets Under Management (AUM).
