New Delhi. American tech company OpenAI, which has made a strong mark in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), has taken another revolutionary step. OpenAI has recently introduced a new AI tool, named Sora. This tool is designed for video generation and works similar to the AI image generation tool DALL-E. It is believed that the launch of Sora can prove to be a big challenge for Google Gemini 2.0.
Sora is a state-of-the-art AI video generation model. It can create realistic videos using text and images. The user just has to tell about the scene and this AI prepares the video based on the user commands. Sora Turbo, an advanced version of this tool introduced in February 2024, has now been introduced which has become faster, better and more effective than before.
Sora AI can make videos of this quality
Videos up to 1080 pixels can be created with Sora, which can be a maximum of 20 seconds in length. It allows creating videos in widescreen, vertical and square formats. You can remix, blend and add new content to the video. Its storyboard feature allows adding special inputs to every frame, making the video more effective and optimized.
Subscription charge will have to be paid
Sora has been made available by OpenAI for ChatGPT Plus and Pro users. But to use it, users will have to pay subscription charge. ChatGPT Plus users will have to pay a subscription charge of Rs 1700 per month for Sora. In this, the user will get the facility to make 50 videos at 480p resolution or less number of videos at 720p resolution. At the same time, the subscription charge of Sora for Pro users has been fixed at Rs 17,000 per month. This plan allows making videos of higher resolution and longer duration. 10 times more features available for Pro users.
Microsoft and OpenAI’s vision
Microsoft has a major stake in OpenAI and through Sora the company aims to strengthen its lead in the AI field. After the success of ChatGPT, expectations regarding Sora have also increased a lot.
