A fire broke out in a three-storey building in Gorakhpur. Within no time, the fire spread so much that the clothes and jewelery shops present in the building also got caught in the fire. At the same time, many people got trapped in the upper part of the building.

The incident happened late night in Campierganj area. Seeing the flames increasing, there was panic in the entire area. At first the people nearby tried to extinguish the fire but when they did not succeed, they informed the police and fire brigade.
Fire brigade extinguished the fire The police and fire team reached the spot after receiving the information and rescued the people trapped in the building and the fire tenders brought the fire under control after about two hours of hard work. During this period, goods worth Rs 25 lakh were burnt to ashes. However, there was no loss of life in this accident.
