Situation of crisis in front of top leadership
The process of organization elections is going on in Bharatiya Janata Party. After the formation of the booth committee, the election process of the Mandal Committee has now started. On Sunday, nominations were made for the post of divisional president and district representative in 7 out of 12 divisions of the metropolis. Here 121 active workers have applied and given indications of conflict. Since the party is trying to conduct elections with mutual consent, now with the bulk of applications coming in, a situation of crisis has arisen in front of the top leadership also.
Many such claimants have applied here, who are being opposed, whereas these workers have the protection of big leaders. There is apprehension among the workers that these workers, who have the blessings of big leaders, may be successful in taking the post, whereas they are not fitting into the election rules.
Nominations took place today in these divisions
The election process was conducted today in Chirgaon, Baruasagar, Shivaji Nagar, City, Sipri Bazar, Babina Rural, Sadar Cantt, Baragaon mandals, while in the remaining 5 mandals, applications will be taken from the contenders on December 16. Withdrawal forms are also being filled by the claimants who have made nominations, so that after the selection of the Mandal President, the claims of other claimants can be rejected.
10 women staked claim in 5 divisions
On Sunday, the nomination process for the post of divisional president and district representative took place in 7 divisions. In this, 10 women in 5 divisions have also expressed their desire to become division presidents. In this, maximum 3 women have applied from Babina Rural, while 2 women each have applied in City, Sadan Cantt and 1 woman each in Shivaji Nagar, Sipri and Baruasagar. In Chirgaon no woman has come forward to stake claim, while in Baragaon a woman has applied for the post of district representative.
City Board President staked claim for the third time
Abhishek Jain, who has held the post of City Board President twice, has staked claim for the third time, due to which an uproar has started. Amit Budholia, who is already fighting the system, has expressed strong objection to this. He vented his anger fiercely on social media platforms. He wrote that some big faces of BJP are trying to make Abhishek the president of the city board for the third time.
He has also applied, whereas this is a violation of Section 21 of the BJP Constitution and is also injustice to the workers. The party has made a rule not to give a third opportunity to a person who has been Mandal President twice, but efforts have started to break this rule. On the other hand, in another division, a two-time division president has applied, due to which there is internal resentment as well.
