Success Story : The Autumn Passing out Parade of the autumn session took place at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Saturday. The dreams of many youth coming from very ordinary families, but full of enthusiasm and passion for serving the country, were seen coming true. One of them is Deepak Singh Bisht, resident of Ranikhet, Uttarakhand. He became an army officer by passing CDS in the 12th attempt.
Deepak Singh Bisht, who became a lieutenant in the army, is originally a resident of Bagwalipokhar Ranikhet in Almora district. His father runs a dhaba in Delhi. His early education was from Prince Public School in Mahatgaon, near his home. After this, he came to Delhi with his parents and passed Intermediate from Government Talent Development School located in Surajmal Vihar.

Deepak Singh Bisht had joined NCC during his intermediate studies. From here, dreams of becoming an army officer started floating in his eyes. He failed in CDS 10 times. He was selected for the Air Force for the 11th time. But he had a passion to join the army. Therefore, he left it and once again joined CDS. Ultimately he was selected for the Army for the 12th time.
Also taught tuition to poor children
After the passing out parade, when Deepak Singh Bisht met his mother Geeta Devi Bisht and father Rajendra Singh Bisht, both of them had tears in their eyes after seeing their son in uniform. The father told that during the army preparation, Deepak had given tuition to poor children. Also taught.
