The minimum temperature in the capital Lucknow tonight came down to around 5 degrees. The temperature was recorded at around 6 degrees at 6 am. The Meteorological Department estimates that today the maximum temperature of Lucknow will be recorded around 25 degrees. According to Atul Kumar Singh, senior scientist of Meteorological Center, Lucknow, the temperature is starting to rise slightly due to easterly winds blowing in the capital from Monday. There will also be a blanket of fog now.
Cold night in Lucknow
Saturday night was the second coldest night of this season. The minimum temperature dropped to 5.5 degrees. It was 3.9 degrees Celsius below normal. The day temperature was 25.6 degrees Celsius with an increase of 1.6 degrees. The night temperature dropped by 0.7 degrees and was recorded at 5.5 degrees.
