Saif Ali Khan recently talked about the Kapoor family’s meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. He said- PM talked personally about my parents Sharmila Tagore and late Mansoor Ali Khan and he thinks that we will also introduce Taimur and Jahangir to them.
Saif Ali Khan recently said in a conversation with Hindustan Times – I am happy that I could be a part of this meeting because of Kareena, Karisma and Ranbir. It is a great honor for the family to have a postage stamp in Raj Saheb’s name to commemorate his 100th birth anniversary.
Saif said- ‘The PM had come to meet them after being in Parliament for a day. So I thought he might be tired but he greeted us all very nicely with a smile. The PM remained attentive to all of us the entire time.
Saif Ali Khan further said- ‘PM also asked about Taimur and Jeh. He also talked personally about my parents Sharmila Tagore and late Mansoor Ali Khan. They think that we will also introduce Taimur and Jahangir to them.
Saif told- ‘On the request of Kareena, the PM had signed a paper for Taimur and Jeh. I thought he was working very hard to run the country, and still finding time to get involved in everything. When I asked him how much rest he gets, the PM told that he gets only about three hours of rest at night.
Saif said that it was a special day for me. We thanked the PM for sparing some of his precious time to meet us and show so much respect to the family.
Earlier this week, the rest of the Kapoor clan, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Neetu Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this, the Kapoor family invited the PM for the 100th birth anniversary celebrations of Raj Kapoor.
