The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast of dry weather for all the districts of the state today i.e. on Monday.
Giving information, Dr. Bikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Center, Dehradun, said that the weather of Uttarakhand remains dry these days. There are no chances of rain or snowfall for the next few days. There was bright sunshine in Dehradun on Sunday but the weather remained cold due to cold winds. While light fog is visible in the morning in the plains, frost at night is also increasing the miseries of the people. He said that if we talk about the weather across the state on December 16, the weather in all the districts is expected to remain dry. In Dehradun, there is a possibility of mainly clear sky and fog in the morning. Today the minimum temperature of Dehradun is likely to be 5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is likely to be 25 degrees Celsius.
Dehradun’s minimum temperature is 4.8 degrees Celsius.
According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, on Sunday the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 22.3 degrees and the minimum temperature was 4.8 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the maximum temperature of Pantnagar was 24 degrees and the minimum temperature was 5.3 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature of Mukteshwar was 21 degrees while the minimum temperature was 6.8 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of New Tehri was recorded at 20.6 degrees and the minimum temperature was 7.6 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, the air quality index (Dehradun AQI) of Dehradun was recorded at 138, which falls in the moderate category.
