Deoghar. This year it seems that the cold is in no mood for mercy. The cold is increasing day by day. The indifference of cold has increased to such an extent that a young man had to bear the brunt of getting married in the cold. The relationship between the bride and groom broke even before the marriage took place.
Actually, the groom fainted during the wedding in Ghoramara of Mohanpur police station area. After which the bride refused to marry. The groom was a resident of Ghoramara and the bride was a resident of Bhagalpur.
The wedding procession came and the garland was given.
A wedding was organized in Sukhadi Mandal Garden of Ghoramara Mandal of Deoghar Block. The groom, Anuj Kumar, was a resident of Ghormara and the bride was from Bhagalpur. The groom reached Sukhadi Mandal Garden with the wedding procession, accompanied by laughter and musical instruments. The bride’s family welcomed the wedding procession. In this garden, a Varmala stage was made under the open sky. Where the bride and groom were garlanded with great pomp.
The groom fainted in the middle of the wedding ceremony
The pavilion in Sukhadi Mandal Garden was also built under the open sky. After the garlanding of the bride and groom, now it was time for other rituals. People from both the families were sitting in this ritual. Then suddenly the groom fell unconscious while trembling. The groom was hurriedly taken to the room and a village doctor was called. The doctor gave an injection to prevent cold. The groom regained consciousness after about one and a half hour. The doctor believed that the groom had an empty stomach since morning and became unconscious due to cold.
The bride refused to marry
When the groom regained consciousness after about one and a half hour of the injection, he sat on the mandap to start the ritual again. Then the bride flatly refused to marry. The bride believed that the groom might be suffering from some illness. Because of which this marriage cannot take place. People from both sides explained a lot to the bride, but the bride remained adamant on not getting married.
Police arrived in the middle of the wedding
After the bride refused to marry, a dispute arose between the two parties. This dispute continued till around 5 in the morning. As soon as Mohanpur police station in-charge came to know about the dispute. He reached Sukhadi Mandal Garden with his team. While Mohanpur police station in-charge Priyaranjan explained to both the parties but the bride remained adamant on not getting married. In the end the groom returned to Ghormara without the bride and the bride returned to her home in Bhagalpur.
