The Health Department has tightened its grip on the fake hospitals running day and night in Etah district and has sealed three illegal hospitals. Apart from this, notices have been issued to three other hospitals. This action of the department has created a stir in the area.

Campaign against quacks
A team led by Dr. Sarvesh Kumar, the nodal officer for quacks of the Health Department, raided the Aliganj area of Etah till late night. The team took action against three fake hospitals and sealed them. These hospitals included Asha Yoga Clinic Parauli, Yatendra Shakya Clinic Parauli and Subhash Shakya Clinic Dariab Ganj Road Jaithara.
Raid on fake hospitals, treatment of patients stopped
The health department team also raided Ananya Clinic located at Dak Bungalow, where some patients were being given drip. Rai Clinic Sarai Adda was also raided, where doctors were found performing operations. Also, notice was served on Ghanshyam Clinic. Doctors without degrees were providing treatment in these hospitals.

Complaint was received on Chief Minister’s public hearing portal
On this action, Dr. Sarvesh Kumar, the nodal officer of quacks, said that he had received the complaint through the Chief Minister’s Public Hearing Portal. This action has been taken on the basis of this complaint. The department has said that further action will be taken after the replies from the hospitals to which notices have been issued.
