The birth anniversary of Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya was celebrated in several phases from morning till evening in Kashi Hindu University. There was a grand event of flower exhibition in the evening and Malviya Diwali at night. The entire campus remained abuzz till 9 pm. Every nook and corner of the campus is lit up with 11 thousand lamps.

The birth anniversary of Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji was celebrated grandly in the student union building of Kashi Hindu University. A memorial meeting was also organized on this occasion. The ceremony started with the garlanding of the portraits of Bharat Ratna Malviya ji and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Addressing the function, Professor Rajneesh Shukla, former Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, said that Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya was the bridge of coordination of the Indian national independence movement. He played an important role in connecting the non-violent movement and the revolutionary movement. While sharing the history of the establishment of Kashi Hindu University, Professor Shukla said that the establishment of this university was possible only on the strength of Malviya ji’s religion and sacrifice.

Paying tribute to former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he said that Atal ji was a personality free from the deceit and deceit of politics. His bold decision regarding nuclear testing still influences Indian foreign policy. Shubham Tiwari conducted the ceremony and the vote of thanks was given by Utkrisht Dwivedi. The Malviya Festival will run throughout the week at Sevagya Sansthanam
Sevagya Sansthanam is being organized to commemorate the 164th birth anniversary of Mahamana Madan Mohan Malaviya Ji, which is being organized between 25th December to 4th January. The inauguration of Mahamana Mahotsav 2024 was organized at Nivedita Shiksha Sadan Girls Inter College.

After the presentation of songs in praise of Mother Saraswati by the school students, live tableaux of various episodes of “Ram Vivah” enthralled the audience. In this staging, Ahilya Uddhar, Janakpuri Arrival, Sita Swayamvar, Ram Baraat, and other wedding rituals were performed live by Shri Ram.

Parallelly, a speech competition was also organized in which more than 150 participants from 50 schools of Varanasi gave speeches on the topic “Mahamana’s life and his ideals, inspiration for today’s India”.

On the occasion of Mahamana Jayanti, a Deep Utsav program was organized by the students in the evening at Kashi Hindu University. Students participated in the program organized at Malviya Bhawan and remembered the personality of Mahamana.
