Chitra Gupta’s son Yash Gupta told that after completing his studies, he thought that instead of doing a job, it would be better to deliver the pickles made from his grandmother’s and his mother’s formula to the people. He himself is doing mushroom farming work. Apart from this, he is also helping his mother in this work. Yash tells that his grandmother’s name was Lajwanti, whom the people of Paltan Bazaar used to call aunty. People liked aunty’s pickles very much. This is the reason why even today their pickles are in great demand. He told that he used to call all grandmothers as Amma and that is why he started his business with this name.
Mango launji is best in winter
Yash told that his mother makes many types of pickles, but her special one is Mango Pickles. He told that he prepares many varieties of pickles including dry mango pickle, oil mango pickle, mango lachha pickle and mango launji. Mango Lachha Pickle is for those children who want to eat jam with paratha or bread for breakfast, it is in this form. The second one is Mango Launji, which is a pickle made with mango and jaggery.
