In Varanasi, 11 secondary unfunded schools in the district have been identified for repair and renovation under the Alankar Scheme. The CDO held a review meeting of the ongoing repair, reconstruction and infrastructure facilities in the school from time to time to the headmasters.

CD Himanshu Nagpal on Thursday evening reviewed the works of 11 non-government aided secondary schools approved in the district for repair, reconstruction and infrastructure facilities of non-government aided secondary schools under Project Alankar Scheme. During this, the progress of the work was known from the principals of all the schools. Apart from this, everyone was also asked questions on quality.
40 percent money in account He asked the officials to take strict action on delay in giving correct answers on quality. District School Inspector Varanasi, who was present during this time, told the CDO that two schools benefiting from this scheme have been constructed by the School Management Committee, three schools by CIDCO and four schools have been allotted by the Rural Engineering Service after the permission of the CDO. For this work, 40% of the scheme funds have been transferred to the joint account.
It was directed by the Chief Development Officer that a technical and quality investigation committee should be formed for the approved works in the school. The school headmaster should also regularly check the quality of the work being done in the school.
