Ice cream – the universally adored dessert – comes in a multitude of flavours. But what happens when someone takes a much-loved dish like biryani and pairs it with ice cream? The result is a bizarre combo — ice cream biryani. Yes, you read that right! It’s a wild fusion of two iconic dishes that will leave you puzzled. Heena Kausar Raad, an Instagram user and the mastermind behind this unusual creation, shared a video showcasing her very own take on fusion food. Heena, who runs a baking academy in Mumbai, said that the ice cream biryani was made to celebrate a special occasion. As part of a seven-day baking course completion at her academy, Heena created this culinary experiment.
In the video, Heena is seen standing beside two large pots of the biryanitopped with what looks like strawberry ice cream. As she takes a ladle full of the biryani, lifting it towards the camera, she showcases the bizarre fusion to her followers. The combination of biryani and ice cream creates a visual that is perplexing.

The comments section of the post is filled with strong disapproval. Many users expressed their anger and confusion at the creation.
One user sarcastically wrote, “Instagram is missing dislike button here,” while another just asked, “What is wrong with you, woman?”
“Make something weird to get famous and go viral, what a crappy way,” read a comment.
Some reactions went even further, with a few angry users demanding the closure of her academy. A user wrote, “Iska cooking certification aur degree cancel karo (Cancel her cooking certification and degree).”
This isn’t the first time Heena has experimented with unusual biryani combinations. Just a few months ago, she made a bizarre mango biryani. In a video, she displayed a large pot of the dish, claiming it was specially prepared for a summer party. You can read more about it here.
