There was a jam for about two hours at Pusar stand on Baraut-Muzaffarnagar road in Baghpat on the festival of Bhaiya Dooj on Sunday. Due to which the pedestrians and drivers had to face a lot of trouble. Due to festival crowd and increasing number of vehicles, there is a shortage of passengers on the Baraut-Budhana road.

The jam of vehicles started at Pusar stand around 2 pm and within no time a three kilometer long queue formed. At the intersection, all the vehicles got stuck in the race to cross each other first. As soon as the information was received, Inspector-in-charge Doghat Bachchu Singh reached the spot with his force and after a lot of effort, the vehicles stuck in the jam were sorted out and the road was somehow opened.
Inspector in-charge Bachchu Singh said that due to the festival, the number of vehicles on the route was very high and a jam situation had arisen due to vehicles coming face to face at the intersection in Pusar. Police force has been deployed at the main intersection and police personnel have been instructed to keep the situation under control.
