Dehradun. The weather in Uttarakhand (Uttarakhand Weather Today) has remained dry for the last several days. Due to lack of rain, dry cold is being felt. Fog is being seen in the morning in the plain districts, while in the high altitude areas cold winds have started blowing due to snowfall. Dry cold is making people sick. Doctors are advising to be careful in this season and are advising to consume fruits, vegetables and other food items that boost immunity. If we talk about the weather today i.e. 24th November, the weather will be dry in all the districts of the state. There will be a drop in temperature in the morning and night.
Director of Meteorological Center, Dehradun, Dr. Bikram Singh has informed that there is no change in the weather in all the districts of the state on Sunday. The weather will remain dry. No warning has been issued by the department. The sky will be mainly clear in the capital Dehradun. There is a possibility of fog in the morning. The maximum temperature of Doon is likely to be around 27 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 10 degrees Celsius.
Dehradun’s minimum temperature is 10 degrees Celsius.
On Saturday, the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 10 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was 26.7 degrees and the minimum temperature was 8.9 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Mukteshwar was 17 degrees while the minimum temperature was 5.1 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature of New Tehri was recorded at 16.3 degrees and the minimum temperature was 6.4 degrees Celsius. On Saturday, the air quality index (AQI) of Dehradun was recorded at 166, which falls in the poor category.
No major change in weather till 26th November
Let us tell you that there is no possibility of any major change in the weather in almost all the districts of Uttarakhand till 26th November. The Meteorological Center has not issued any alert for any other day except November 23. Cold is expected to increase in the state. Dr. Bikram Singh said that further reduction in temperature will be seen in the coming days. There are chances of severe cold in Nainital, Uttarkashi, Tehri Garhwal and Chamoli districts. Fog can be seen in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar district in the morning.
